Dear Parents and Athletes

 

Thank you for your interest in allowing your child to participate in this upcoming track season with the R.C. Striders Track Club. As we move into our 3rd season as a club we are still excited about the success of our club last year and we are looking forward to an increase in the success of the club again this year. Hopefully you will find this packet to be informative and helpful with any questions you may have aout registration, schedules, uniforms, fees, and fundraisers.

This year we will be fundraising more throughout the season in effort to try to lower the out of pocket expenses for road trips such as our annual Regional Meet and Junior Olympics, we will also be purchasing some necessary equipment to help the athletes train. We will be starting a T.J 's pizza fundraiser right away as our first fundraiser and have serveral others that will follow. Enclosed you will find the brochures for TJ's to get started. Please prayerfully consider being an active participant in our fundraising efforts for this year. A tentative fundraiser schedule will be handed out at the first practice. Also any additional fundraiser ideas please feel free to bring those ideas forth, we welcome all suggestions.

We thank you in advance for your time reviewing this information enclosed and look forward to seing you at the first practice on February 27, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. at the end of the football field at Normandy High School located at the corner of Lucas Hunt & st. Charles Rock Road. We will be outside so please dress athletes appropriately based on the weather conditions. Please be sure to bring your child's registration form, medical/consent form, and $12 dollars for their AAU membership card. Also parents please plan to stay for this first practice in effort to get registration completed and receive additional information.
